Online mapping options (normally powered by Google Maps) continue to amaze me and I just found another fun example on ubasics.com.
As a child my dad always said that if I dug a hole in our yard I would eventually reach Australia. It seems he was wrong. Take a look at this simple but entertaining use of Google Maps to see the other side of the world from any starting place. It seems the opposite of my home town (Harlow, Essex) is South-East of New Zealand. If I had followed my dad’s advice I would have got very wet!
